HHS Eagle - December 1993

Do You Have a Ring?
This is one of two comics I did for the HHS Eagle that was NOT part of my regularly featured Dessins series. This time, I was the Eagle's "Student Spotlight" for the month. In truth, however, I was spotlighted because I was friends with the editor and she wanted an excuse to give me more space in the paper.

As part of the feature, I was called upon to draw my "favorite cartoon" that I had ever made, and this was it. While I don't think it is still my #1 favorite, I do love this cartoon because of its complete, shameless stupidity. It combines the elements of pun, surprise, and relationships into one big happy ball of idiocy. I still can't think of it without smiling, even after all these years.
