The Cheese Wall is a work of fiction, and I alone and responsible for it.Although fictitious, portions of the story are loosely based on my experiences working at Meijer during the summer of 1997.

I wrote the story first as a one-act play (which was never produced) to amuse a co-worker. Two years later, I converted the script to an illustrated story while a member of the Storytelling Club at BYU.

DISCLAIMER: Those familiar with my personal history will recall that I worked at Wal-Mart corporate headquarters between 2002 and 2004. This fact, combined with the eery similarity between Cheese Wall culture and Wal-Mart culture, may lead you to believe that I had Wal-Mart in mind when I wrote the story. This is not true, as I wrote The Cheese Wall a full five years before I ever worked at Wal-Mart.
