The St. George Tithing Miracle is another of the stories I drew to keep my Sunday School class entertained. It recounts the true story of how Lorenzo Snow (fifth president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) received the revelation that tithing should be readopted as the principle means of financing the Church's operations.

Some readers may notice a similarity between this story and the 1963 film The Windows of Heaven. This is entirely intentional, as they are both based on the same historical facts. The Sunday School lesson manual actually suggested using the film version, but since I was too lazy to find the videotape, I just drew the story instead.
